Start of Semester:
1. How do you envision using art in your classroom?
I want to incorporate art into all parts of my classroom. I think that using art and creativity brings out the best in students and lets them express themselves.
2. What do you know about integrated learning / integration?
Integrated learning is being able to seamlessly incorporate 2 subjects or tasks into 1 lesson. For example, using literacy and art in the same lesson.
3. Rate your comfort level in making art, and discuss.
Uneasy 1 2 3 4 5 Comfortable
3- I like making art, but I wouldn't say that I'm great at making art. I think I'm a pretty creative person and I like "crafting", but I don't know if I would really call "crafting" making art.
4. Rate your comfort level in analyzing and talking about art, and discuss.

2- I can talk about art, but it's not very in depth and I don't know how to analyze art at all.
End of the Semester:
1. How do you envision using art in your classroom?
I envision using art through integration with other core subjects in my classroom. Over this semester, I have realized that art integration is easier than I originally thought and it allows the students' creativity to be brought out.
2. What do you know about integrated learning / integration?
It is a more memorable way for kids to learn because they are not just doing 1 subject, they are doing more than 1 and they are more involved in the learning process. You can integrate many different subjects to make a more cohesive lesson plan.
3. Rate your comfort level in making art, and discuss.
Uneasy 1 2 3 4 5 Comfortable
5- I'm much more comfortable making art because I have realized that art is so subjective. My art is different from anyone else's and I have realized over the semester that I love the art I make because it reflects who I am as a person and the changes that I have made throughout the year that have made me who I am today.
4. Rate your comfort level in analyzing and talking about art, and discuss.

5- I feel so much more comfortable than I did at the beginning of the semester. Through learning about VTS, I have come to realize that there is no right or wrong answer when it comes to analyzing and talking about art because everyone sees art differently. I have my own opinion and I see art differently than the next person does.
